Wedding planning is fun because the perfect wedding day is being thought about, discussed, and tailored to the bridal couple. It’s even more fun when the wedding photographer gets to come along for the ride. So when Stacy and her Mom Paula kept me in the loop about their flowers, reception, and ceremony details I was in heaven! I couldn’t wait for the big day and just knew it was going to be breathtaking.
The ceremony was held at the Saratoga Federated Church. The church is so cute with amazing architecture!
And the chapel where they were married was so intimate that everyone felt like they had a front row seat.
The details to enhance the already enchanted chapel went perfectly with the style of the church.
So it was no surprise when the ceremony was touching and personal for the couple.
Stacy and Nick also wanted to include a special thank you to their parents and present them with personalized gifts during the ceremony, which was touching for all.
But one of the most touching moment occurred when the adorable flower girl wanted a hug from the bride too.
By the way, did I mention how cute the flower girl was…
After the ceremony, before the bridal party headed off to the reception we were able to photograph some great moment.
One such photo is this four generation photo of the bride, her Mother, her Grandmother, and the bride’s Niece. This photo hold special meaning to many because a few weeks after the wedding, Stacy’s grandmother passed away. She enjoyed the wedding and reception very much and everyone was so happy she could share this moment with Stacy and her family.
We then headed off to the Biltmore for the reception and of course cake!
And a white chocolate fountain…
And chillin’ with the girls…at the pool.
Stacy and Nick, it was a pleasure to photograph your wedding! Here’s to a long and happy marriage for the two of you!
