Seeing a little munchkin grow up during their first year is amazing! But getting to photograph them each month is so awesome! Therefore, I thought I would share Charlie’s 1st year to celebrate his 1st birthday! The journey started with maternity photographs and the anticipation from his parents, his older brother, and me were shared! Even though I think his older brother, Henry, was the most excited because he was getting a little brother.
When Charlie arrived, he was so different but yet the same as his older brother. Sweet, cute as can be, and one of the happiest babies ever! It was so great getting to meet him and seeing him be a little sleepy munchkin.
Henry jumped into the role of big brother and you could just tell by looking at them together that they were going to be the best of friends. They even had matching shirts!
At three months, a blanket and a thumb were all that were needed to keep Charlie as happy as could be. Just look at those big, gorgeous eyes. How could you not just snuggle with him all day?!?!?!
Four months brought warm sweaters and the cutest baby expressions ever! During this outdoor photography session Charlie posed, giggled, and gave the sweetest of smiles.
Who knew that toes were so much fun! We found out at the five months baby photography session!
At six months, the GQ posing started and the munchkin supermodel baby was born!
The seven month baby photography session brought lots of laughs, toys, and adorable outfits!
Eight months conjured up thoughts of the beach and getting ready for Summer in a just a few short months!
Still hoping for warming weather during his nine month photography session, Charlie pulled out the Tommy Bahama inspired outfit to show that he just couldn’t wait for the weather to warm up!
Finally the weather was warmer and hanging out with Mom at Filoli was super fun!
The GQ posing is back with a personalized prop at eleven months!
And finally, one year…walking, talking (in a language I haven’t mastered yet), and being as adorable as possible!
Charlie it has been a fantastic first year! I can’t wait to photograph you during year 2. I’m sure it will be just as fun and that the GQ posing will be in full force!!! Happy Birthday Charlie!
