1. Describe your photography style.

Before you meet with a wedding photographer, look them up online and see if you like the style of their photography. Once you find a photographer who’s style you like, contact them for a consultation. When you meet with them during the consultation, be sure to see examples of past weddings they have photographed because viewing pictures online and in print are two very different things!

2. Can you walk me through you wedding process?

Each wedding photographer is different. Some use a second photographer others don’t. Some use portable lighting, follow a standard shot list, or just go with the flow of the day. Find a process that you feel most comfortable with and let your photographer know that up front.

3. What is included in each package?

Not only does this include the products included in each package but also if there are any additional charges that may come later.

4. Do you photograph multiple weddings per day?

Depending on the type of wedding you are having you may want the photographer for the entire day or only for a few hours. And if they are booking multiple weddings on one day, find out the timing between your wedding and the other one to make sure the photographer has enough time to get form one wedding to the next.

5. Does the photographer have any recommendations for other vendors you may still need to book?

If you are going to hire the photographer you are meeting with, ask if they can recommend any other vendors that you still need to hire for your wedding day. It is likely that if you like your photographer’s personality and feel comfortable with them that you will also feel comfortable with their recommendations of other vendors.

1. Newborn

When the little munchkins first enter this world is a precious and magical time. Photographing little munchkins when they are around 5 days old is a perfect time!

2. Three months

The little ones change so much in those first 3 months. But at three months the little munchkins are holding their heads up, more aware of their surroundings, and have those cute baby smiles.

3. Six Months

At six months the little munchkins are sitting up on their own and about ready to drive at the rate they are growing.

4. A year old

At a year those little munchkins have learned to walk and are finding out that they can move quicker than Mom and Dad.

Since it has been cold out, we took advantage of the ski hat and pulled off an urban feel with the jeans and t-shirt.

The stripped hoodie was so cute that I wish they had it in adult sizes! Charlie loved it too as he chilled out during this part of the portrait session.

But my favorite was the sleepy baby look. Ready to head home and starting to get a tad sleepy, I could help but grab a few more photos before he drifted off for the trip home.

Charlie you are such a cutie! Can’t wait to see you soon and see how much you’ve grown!

We started with a picnic filled with wine, cheese, and sunglasses for the serious look.

Soon we moved onto a board game that they play often with friends and each other.

Alie and David love wine and cheese. They brought their own special bottle of wine and the cheese “props” were snacked on throughout the engagement photography session.

Headed to Europe for their honeymoon, they pulled out the European flair for some portraits. I think they will fit right in with their style, grace, and of course amore!
